Hotel Santa Teresa Rio

Hotel Santa Teresa is a small luxury hotel in Rio de Janeiro which offers a unique travel into the Brazilian soul from a contemporary sight. Located in the cultural heart of the city, Hotel Santa Teresa has now been included in the prestigious Condé Nast Traveler Hot List Hotels 2009. Brazilian artists Sérgio Rodriguez, Carassas, Oficina de Agosto created the hotel’ design project inspired by the African and Indian roots.
Hotel Santa Teresa has 44 beautiful rooms, most with balconies and panoramic views over the Rio de Janeiro Bay. The tropical interior packed with local arts and crafts and consists of only natural materials including tropical woods, natural fabrics and fibers and more, not forgetting the essentials such as LCD TVs and WI-FI.
Hidden within its chic tropical garden of palm trees and jasmines, this small boutique hotel boasts of a 25m polished green slate swimming pool which has far-reaching panoramic views across the whole of Rio de Janeiro. Santa Teresa has a full-service spa that offers facials, massages and relaxing body treatments. There are four massage rooms, a steam room, a Jacuzzi, a sauna and a large area of relaxation. Le Spa by Natura was specially created for the relaxation of its customers, offering treatments from amazonian seeds, flowers and roots to balance the body, soul and mind.
